Globalized guild rules (First edition was written on 2016/1/26)
 "Valhalla" is a Taiwanese guild. You may find Chinese widely spoken in the guild. However, in Elsword (German Server), we are foreigners that need to keep low profile. |
1. Avoid contents related to pornography, racism, inflammatory or illegal actions, offense or with far-right extremist backgrounds when naming characters, guilds, groups, PvP rooms, pets and so on. 2. The official language on all servers, forums and the official IRC #elsword channels is German and/ or English. This also applies to your in-game notes, texts, etc. that you send in public or to your group. (Messages in native language in the guild channel is acceptable.) 3. Be rational when dealing with everything. Remember, everything! 4. Please be polite when interacting with other players and do not offend them. Threatening, extorting or intimidating other players using BUG or Cheater in the game is prohibited and will be severely punished. 5. If you are not acquainted with foreigners, you may choose to play with the people in your country who are native speakers of your language. Also, keep in mind that racist actions and driving a wedge between people will not be tolerated. 6. The aforementioned rules are applicable to foreign players who are not native speakers of Chinese as well. Everyone in the guild should be all equal. |
☆Two new diplomats in the guild:
GaRei is one of the two diplomats. (Taiwanese, and he speaks Chinese and English.) Ginkaku is the other one. (German, and he speaks German and English.)
If you have any communication problems with foreigners, you can ask them for help.We also welcome guild members who are good at speaking English and/ or German to help GaRei and Ginkaku.
☆Native language in the guild in accordance to the percentage of members:
If the percentage of foreigners (who don't speak Chinese) in the Guild is under 24%
→ Chinese, but members should contact with foreigners in English, German or their native languages.
If the percentage of foreigners (who don't speak Chinese) in the Guild is between 25%~49%→ Chinese is the primary language. English and German are secondary languages.
If the percentage of foreigners (who don't speak Chinese) in the Guild is between 50%~74%
→ English and German are primary languages. Chinese is the secondary language.
If the percentage of foreigners (who don't speak Chinese) in the Guild is over 75%
→ English and German, but members should contact with Taiwanese or Hong Kongers in English or Chinese.
☆Non-guild members
If foreigners (who don't speak Chinese) want to join “Valhalla”, diplomats or guild administrators need to explain the guild of “Valhalla” and its rules to them (Encourage the foreigners to play dungeons or PvP with guild members for a while.). If they are still willing to join and follow the rules, diplomats or guild administrators can send invitations to them.
☆Short-term goals
◎Diplomat’s duty :
1. Please set a good example of diplomat's own conduct.
2. The diplomats are responsible for solving general problems such as inviting foreign players to the guild, explaining the game-walkthroughs, answering class-transfers and so on.
3. Translate the guild members’ sentences and make sure that others can understand successfully.
4. The aforementioned rules are applicable to foreign players who are not native speakers of Chinese as well. Everyone in the guild should be all equal.
◎Guild administrator’s duty:
1. Racist actions and driving a wedge between people are strictly forbidden. Every guild member is an Elsword-player who likes and enjoys the game. If you are not acquainted with foreigners, you may choose to play with the people in your country who are native speakers of your language. Please set a good example of guild administrator 's own conduct.
2. Coordinate the guild members and placate the newcomers to the guild who have difficulties getting familiar with foreigners. Listen to their advice heartily and remind diplomats to satisfy their needs in private.
3. Help diplomats when necessary.
4. The aforementioned rules are applicable to foreign players who are not native speakers of Chinese as well. Everyone in the guild should be all equal.
◎General member’s duty:
1. It is forbidden to be racism and try to drive a wedge between each other. Every guild member is an Elsword-player who likes and enjoys the games. If you did not adapt with foreigners, you could choose playing with the people in your country who are native speakers of your language.
2. Please be polite when interacting with other foreign members. (Be friendly and kind makes our guild better.)
3. If you find someone violating the rules, BUGs or cheaters, please report all necessary information (e.g. videos) immediately to the diplomats or guild administrators as soon as possible.
4. The aforementioned rules are applicable to foreign players who are not native speakers of Chinese as well. Everyone in the guild should be all equal.
☆Mid-term goals
◎Diplomat’s duty :
1. Please set a good example of diplomat's own conduct.
2. Frequently inviting guild members to play dungeons (e.g. secret dungeons, Henir's Spacetime and Raid-Boss) or PvP for fun, regardless of their nationalities. Encourage Asian members and foreigners to enjoy the game together.
3. Deal with cultural differences and communicating problems related to foreigners.
4. The aforementioned rules are applicable to foreign players who are not native speakers of Chinese as well. Everyone in the guild should be all equal.
◎Guild administrator’s duty:
